Dr. Mike Trowbridge returned to Colorado in 1989 after completing his Otolaryngology training at the University of Iowa (ranked repetitively as one of the top ENT training programs in the country by US News and World Report.) Dr. Trowbridge is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has received the AMA Recognition Award for Continuing Medical Education as well as the Teacher of the Year Award from the St. Mary’s Family Practice Training Program and also from the University of Colorado Otolaryngology Training Program. He has served as the Chief of the Surgical Section at St. Mary’s Hospital and remains active on several quality review committees there and at the Grand Valley Surgical Center as well. He has privileges and works out of all the hospitals in Grand Junction including St. Mary’s, Community and the Veterans Hospital. Dr. Trowbridge’s practice encompasses all areas of Otolaryngology, and in combination with his partners, physician assistants, audiologists, speech therapist and office staff, can deal with the entire array of childhood and adult head and neck problems. He is the president of the medical staff.
